A guide I created for people who want to explore my hometown, Lugano.
The guide is divided into a series of maps featuring different locals. Each one of them offers personal suggestions so visitors can see the city through their eyes.
Alongside the physical map I built a website, newsletter and managed a Facebook and Instagram profile. A community formed and I informed them weekly about the progress of the map, events in town and new businesses/places to discover.
We decided to make the map a reality and launched a crowdfunding campaign. It reached 110% of its target, with funds from 81 people. This allowed us to print the map and distribute it around town.
